Everglades Fishing Adventures

As a fourth-generation Floridian and South Florida native, my life-long passion has been fishing. My most cherished memories date back to when, at the tender age of five, I discovered the joy of fishing South Florida waters with my father and grandfather. By the time I turned 12, owning my first boat enabled me to fish between Naples and Marco Island whenever I could. When I was 15, my grandfather introduced me to the breathtaking beauty of Everglades National Park. I was so captivated by its spectacular views and diverse wildlife that I aimed to learn every square inch of this natural haven—an endeavor I still continue thirty years later. Being a guide has brought me enormous satisfaction, not least of all because it has allowed me to meet diverse people from around the globe. I derive immense pleasure from instructing those who are new to fishing — guiding them to catch their first fish and introducing them to the unique ecosystem of the Florida Everglades. Throughout the years, I've had the honor of trekking with seasoned tournament anglers as well as families completely new to the fishing world. But perhaps the most rewarding experience for me is witnessing the excitement of a child catching their first fish. The joy mirrored in their faces harkens back to the time when I first taught my two daughters how to fish. This shared joy is a memory I cherish and one that I can guarantee you and your children will always treasure!
